Booking-madeira.com advises all users to read the Terms and Conditions as outlined below. By making a booking through Booking-madeira.com, its subsidiaries and affiliates, you agree to the Terms and Conditions below and agree that you fully understand them. Please also ensure you have read and understood the itinerary and style of the trip/s you are booking. Booking-madeira.com accepts bookings subject to the following conditions:

1. The Contract
By making a booking, you have agreed to these terms and conditions on behalf of all individuals included in the booking. The services to be provided are those in your booking confirmation invoice. Changes or variations to these terms and conditions are prohibited unless done under the authority of Booking-madeira.com.

2. Booking and Pricing
2.1 Pricing
a) Prices – All prices listed are on a per traveller basis (shared), unless you upgrade for private per vehicle basis price.
All prices are net, per service and in euros. Prices are inclusive of all included tour features as listed on the tour description page on Booking-madeira.com.
b) Price changes  Prices shown on the website are the current rates and can change without notice. Once a traveller has booked a Booking-madeira.com service, the traveller will not be required to pay any difference in the event of a price increase. Booking-madeira.com will not refund the balance of any price reduction.
c) Child Pricing – Children aged 0-2,99 years old are free of charge, while children 3-9,99 years old will be required to pay 50% of the prevailing adult rate.

3. Exclusions: The price of your trip does not include the following:
Tips and gratuities – If you are pleased with the services provided by local guides and drivers please feel free to tip them accordingly. It is certainly not compulsory and our staff or partners will never pressure anyone into tipping, however, a small token of appreciation can make a huge difference to the people helping you explore this wonderful island.

4. Change of Itinerary and Cancellations
4.1 Cancellations by the traveller
a) Cancellation fees – Cancellation fees may apply to any cancellations by the traveller of a service provided by Booking-madeira.com. Unless otherwise specified, the cancellation policy is as follows:
Cancellations made more than 72 hours prior to travel receive a full refund minus €5 administrative fee per passenger;
Cancellations made between 72 and 48 hours will receive a 50% refund, minus €5 administrative fee per passenger;
Cancellations made 48 hours or less prior to travel require the traveller to pay for the tour in full, and no refund will be issued.
4.2 Cancellations by Booking-madeira.com
Booking-madeira.com may cancel a tour at any time prior to departure if, due to terrorism, natural disasters, political instability, or other external events it is not viable for us to operate the planned itinerary. If we cancel your tour, you can transfer amounts paid to an alternate departure date or, alternatively, receive a full refund. In circumstances where the cancellation is due to external events outside our reasonable control, refunds will be less any unrecoverable costs.
4.3 Changes to bookings by the traveller
a) Should a traveller wish to alter an existing booking, the original booking must be cancelled and a new booking made. Travellers are advised to contact Booking-madeira.com as soon as possible when making a cancellation or change. Prices applying to the new booking will be the price at the time the new booking is made. Cancellation charges may apply (refer to section 4.1). Alternatively, travellers can contact Booking-madeira.com and arrange a tour change directly.
4.4 Amendments to itineraries by Booking-madeira.com
Booking-madeira.com endeavours to undertake the tour as described on Booking-madeira.com. The itinerary provided for each service is representative of the activities planned; however, the route, amenities, stops, and modes of transport may be subject to change without prior notice due to local circumstances or events. If we make a major change before departure, we will inform you as soon as reasonably possible. We reserve the right to change an itinerary after departure due to local circumstances or events outside of our control.

5. Confirmation and vouchers
a) Confirmation – Upon receipt of full payment, Booking-madeira.com will issue a voucher via email for the booked tour. This should arrive within 24 hours (usually immediately). If a confirmation email has not been received please contact Booking-madeira.com as soon as possible.
b) Vouchers — The lead traveller must present the original voucher (either a paper or an electronic) issued by Booking-madeira.com at the start of the tour. Booking-madeira.com reserves the right to refuse service to any travellers not able to provide their voucher to their guide at the beginning of the tour.

6. Your Booking-madeira.com tour
6.1 Traveller confirmation
In case of any queries and doubts, we recommend the lead traveller contact Booking-madeira.com 24 hours prior to the start of their tour to confirm the tour departure. Our contact information is available on the voucher provided.
6.2 Being On Time
Tour participants are expected to be on time at the designated tour start point in order to avoid unnecessary delays. If you, and/or your party are late, Booking-madeira.com and any Booking-madeira.com Partners will consider the traveller to be a “no show” and the tour will start without them and no refund will be provided, unless you send us a message. If we are delayed, we will make every effort to leave a message at the reception of your hotel. The following start point(s) are outlined in the tour information and on the confirmation voucher:
Pick-up – If a pick-up is included in the tour, the times the service will be provided are listed in the product information and on the voucher (for example, 8.30 to 9.00am). The traveller should wait at the lobby of the hotel during the designated pick-up times.
Meeting point – If a meeting point is set for the tour, one time will be set as the start time (for example, 8.30am). The traveller should be waiting at the designated start point at the designated start time. It is recommended that you arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the start of the tour.
6.3 Your responsibility
All travellers participating in the tour are responsible for themselves and their actions at all times. Should a traveller’s actions be deemed unsafe, offensive or inflammatory, or hinder the enjoyment of anyone else on the tour, Booking-madeira.com reserves the right to have this person removed from the tour. No refund will be supplied. You must at all times comply with the laws, customs, foreign exchange, and drug regulations of all countries visited, and you also agree to travel in accordance with our responsible travel guidelines.

7. Personal Details Crucial to the Tour
The lead traveller is responsible for providing accurate information during the booking process. Booking-madeira.com reserves the right to cancel any bookings if inaccurate information is provided, including (but not exclusive to):
Traveller name(s)
Hotel (pick-up)/ details
Email address
Contact Details

8. Age and health requirements
a) Age requirements – All travellers under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
b) Health requirements – Travellers must ensure that they are suitably fit to allow participation.

9. Tour Authority
Each Booking-madeira.com is run by one of excellent group leaders. The decision of the group leader is final on all matters likely to affect the safety or well-being of any traveller or staff member participating in the trip. If you fail to comply with a decision made by a group leader, or interfere with the well-being or mobility of the group, the group leader may direct you to leave the trip immediately, with no right of refund. Booking-madeira.com also reserves the right to refuse participation in future tours – including those already booked in advance.

10. Travel insurance
It is a requirement that all travellers have valid and comprehensive travel insurance. Neither Booking-madeira.com nor their Partners can be held responsible for any liability, expenses, or losses you incur as a result of being inadequately insured. We strongly recommend that you bring your European Health Insurance Card to access health care services in case you need and, very important, that you bring it with you at all time during your temporary visit to Madeira, including tours.

11. Grievances and Complaints
Should you have a complaint about your Booking-madeira.com tour, please bring this to the attention of your tour leader or Booking-madeira.com Partner representative immediately and not after the completion of your tour. Complaints received outside this timeframe will not be considered.

12. Terms of use
By using https://booking-madeira.com, the traveller agrees to be bound by the conditions outlined in these terms and conditions.

13. Privacy policy
Any personal information that we collect about you will not be used for any purpose, except associated with the operation of your Booking-madeira.com purchase (marketing material in relation to our events and special offers).
